The Idaho State Elks Association proudly hosted the 2025–2026 Idaho State Hoop Shoot on February 7, 2026, in Wallace, Idaho. Youth competitors and their families traveled from across the state to participate, turning the event into a true celebration of community, encouragement, and friendly competition.

Throughout the day, Elks from Lodges in every district followed their champions to Wallace, filling the gym with cheers and support. The atmosphere reflected the heart of the Hoop Shoot program, where confidence, character, and sportsmanship matter just as much as the final score.

Many divisions saw exceptionally close competition, with several placements determined through tie-breaker rounds. These additional rounds highlighted the composure and focus of the young athletes, as they stepped back to the free-throw line to determine final standings.
